Central Oklahoma JDRF Applauds Passage Of Diabetes Center Bill By Senate Appropriations Committee

(Oklahoma City, OK) -- The Central Oklahoma Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is applauding the state Senate Appropriations Commiittee's unanimous approval of Senate Bill 1056, which would create two diabetes research facilities in Oklahoma.

"This is a great day for those who suffer from the complications of type 1 diabetes," said Renee MacDonald, executive director of the Central Oklahoma JDRF. "Many people don't realize that even though many people are taking insulin, it is not a cure. Hopefully, the approval of this bill by the Appropriations Committee will bring us one step closer to finding that cure."

Ron was invited to sing in "One love",and open mic night event hosted by City Church, in Oklahoma City, OK. There were people of all different types of music, backgrounds and creeds. The crowd loved Ron's original material and look forward to his album release this summer.
